This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies our website at propelva.app, including its market sites under that domain, uses, why it uses them and how you can control them. 2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Your browser sends it back to that website on later visits, so the website can recognise a setting you made earlier.

Local storage is a similar technology: a website's scripts keep small pieces of information in your browser and read them again on later visits. Unlike a cookie, local storage is not sent to the website's server with each request.

In this policy, we call cookies and local-storage entries "items".

3. Items necessary for the website to work

All items listed below are first-party: they are set for our own domain, not by third parties. Cookies apply to propelva.app and all its addresses; local storage items apply only to the website address on which they were set.

These items let the website show you the right market, language, prices and display, and remember your analytics choice. We therefore treat them as necessary for the website to work as you expect.

  • pv_country (cookie): your market (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia or Belarus). Our server uses it to send you to the right market site, to serve Belarus-market pages and to record the waitlist country; the website also relies on it where the address does not itself determine the market. Kept for 365 days.
  • propelva_locale (cookie): the language you chose, used to select the page language when you open the home page or an entry address. Kept for 365 days.
  • pv-country (local storage): your market, used by the website's scripts for searches, for loading Belarus-market listings and for the waitlist country. Kept until deleted.
  • pv-currency (local storage): the currency in which prices are displayed. Kept until deleted.
  • pv-theme (local storage): display theme (system, light or dark). Kept until deleted.
  • pv-consent (local storage): your choice whether to allow analytics, and the date you made it. Kept for 6 months.

Some of these items are written when you use the website, not only when you choose a setting. On a market site, the country and currency items are written on every page you open, based on that site's address, and our server sets pv_country when it redirects you or when the cookie does not match the market site. propelva_locale is set only when you choose a language or open an English-language address beginning with /en/. pv-theme is written only when you choose a theme. pv-consent is written when you accept or reject analytics.

4. Analytics, only with your consent

With your consent, the website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic on the website. Until you accept, it is not loaded. Cloudflare Web Analytics itself sets no cookies and uses no local storage. See Cloudflare's collection documentation.

When you first visit the website, a banner asks whether you allow analytics. Your choice is recorded in pv-consent. Because pv-consent is local storage, it applies only to the website address on which you made your choice: a choice made on one market site's address is not carried over to another, so the banner may ask you again there. The banner also asks again after 6 months, when we change what we ask your consent for, or if you have deleted your choice.

You can withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie settings" in the website footer or on this page. Withdrawal records "no" in pv-consent, and analytics stops from the next page you load. Withdrawal does not affect measurement carried out before it.

5. Third-party services

Cloudflare security checks. On propelva.app, Cloudflare's security and bot protection may check your browser and may set a cookie to remember that the check was passed. See Cloudflare's cookie documentation.

Salesforce waitlist. The waitlist form is part of our website. Nothing is loaded from Salesforce before you submit it. When you submit the form, your browser sends the information you entered directly to Salesforce, and Salesforce's response opens in a hidden frame on the page or, if JavaScript is turned off in your browser, in the browser window. Salesforce may set its own cookies or similar storage at that point, under its own policy. See Salesforce's privacy statement.

6. No advertising cookies

We do not use advertising cookies or similar storage on the website, and the analytics described in §4 uses no cookies or similar storage. Apart from the items listed in §3, the website sets no cookies or browser storage of its own.

7. How to control and delete these items

You can delete these items at any time by clearing cookies and site data for propelva.app in your browser settings, and you can block them there. Deleted items are written again when you next use the website, as described in §3, and the banner asks for your analytics choice again. If you block them, the website cannot remember your market, language, currency, theme or analytics choice.

8. The Propelva app

This policy covers the website only. How the Propelva app stores information on your device, the device permissions it requests and its optional analytics are described in §8 of our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this policy and its effective date when the items we use on the website, or the services described here, change. If a change affects what we ask your consent for, the banner asks for your choice again.
