Common questions

What does it cost?
Listing a game is free, and sellers never pay a fee. When a game is shipped, the buyer pays the price, the delivery and a small Buyer protection fee. You see each of these and the total before you pay. Games sold by shops have no Buyer protection fee. In a swap, each of you pays only your own part, and you see it before you commit.
What happens after my swap offer is accepted?
You have 24 hours to confirm. Confirming reserves the games for both of you, and you pay your part if you owe anything. Then the other person pays theirs. Next, each of you gets a shipping label in the chat and drops your parcel off before the deadline. When the game arrives, check it and tap “Confirm receipt”. Any cash in the deal is then released.
Is my money safe?
Yes. When you pay for a shipped game, we hold the money instead of sending it straight to the seller. It’s released when you confirm the game arrived as described. If you don’t confirm, it’s released automatically 2 days after the carrier reports the parcel delivered or collected. If something’s wrong, open a dispute before then and the money stays on hold.
How do games ship?
When it’s time to send, tap “Get the shipping label” in your chat. Pack the game and drop it off at a locker or pickup point of that carrier before the deadline shown. In Poland you’ll see options like InPost, Orlen Paczka, Pocztex and DPD. In Czechia and Slovakia it’s Packeta. Whoever receives the game chooses where it goes: a locker, a pickup point or, where available, their door. In a swap, each of you sends your own game and pays for the delivery of the game coming to you.
Which countries is it in?
Poland, Czechia and Slovakia at launch. Which listings you can see depends on which shipping lanes reach you, so cross-border browsing is opened market by market. Tell us where you are and we will let you know when your country opens.
What if nobody has listed the game I want?
Add it to your wishlist and we ping you when a copy is listed near you. Set terms on it — the most you would pay, a condition floor, editions and a radius — and sellers can see how many people nearby are looking before they list.
Can shops sell on Propelva?
Not at launch — shop accounts come next (sell-only). Email us and we’ll tell you when signup opens.
Which languages is Propelva available in?
The website and the app are available in English, Polish, Czech, Slovak and German.
